Litmus Industries Limited has officially launched its Skill Improvement Program (SIP) for electricians, a specialized skill-upgrading initiative rooted in the company’s core values of education, competency, and safety. The program is initially being rolled out in Kathmandu, with a strategic plan to expand it nationwide in the near future.

The SIP Program is designed specifically for electricians who are customers of Litmus products, reflecting the company’s commitment to giving back to those who trust and work with its solutions. Through this initiative, Litmus aims to strengthen technical skills while contributing to safer electrical practices across the country.

The 20-day training program focuses on both theoretical and practical competencies, including industrial electrical wiring and installation, motor control systems, earthing, lightning protection, generator systems, and other essential hands-on skills. By strengthening electricians’ expertise, the program ultimately aims to ensure safer wiring and improved quality of electrical installations.

The training is being conducted in collaboration with Balaju School of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with CTEVT, ensuring structured, industry-relevant, and standardized technical education.

The program was formally inaugurated through a signing ceremony between Mrs. Sakshi Gupta, Director of Litmus Industries Limited, and Mr. Sushil Kumar Shrestha, Principal of Balaju School of Engineering and Technology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Sakshi Gupta said, “This initiative is more than just training; it is our responsibility towards society and our customers. Litmus has always stood with its customers. Through education and skill development, this program will help promote safer wiring practices and quality electrical installations. We are proud to begin this initiative in Kathmandu and gradually expand it across the country.”

The program will positively impact society by enhancing the skills, professionalism, and safety awareness of electricians.”
