We acquired a cricket team during Everest Premier League which was among the very first international cricket tournaments in Nepal. We entered the sports business in Nepal with our company Tele Holdings Pvt. Ltd. We are the proud owners of Kathmandu Kings XI (KKXI)- one of the most sought-after franchise cricket teams of Everest Premier League, an international cricket tournament in Nepal.

    • Tele Holding has been part of the sporting fraternity in Nepal since 2014
    • Kathmandu Kings XI(KKXI) is one of the franchise teams of EPL 2 acquired by Tele Holdings Pvt. Ltd. as a legacy of Team Colors X-Factors from Everest Premier League.
    • EPL is Nepal’s biggest international cricket league.
    • KKXI is currently led by Mr. Gyanendra Malla. The team reached final of the EPL in 2016 under his leadership.
    • In 2017, international cricket superstars like Fraveez Maharoof of Sri Lanka and Kevin O' Brien of Ireland were part of KKXI.
    • National cricket heroes like Nepal’s fastest bowler Sompal Kami, current Vice-Captain of Nepal Dipendar Singh Airee and global superstar Sandeep Lamichhane have also played for KKXI.
    • For the new season of EPL (2021), Pakistani legendary former captain and player Shahid Afridi has been acquired by KKXI for the upcoming league.
    • KKXI also has initiated major projects to develop cricket in Nepal by conducting “Kathmandu Kings XI Talent Hunt” every season where new players get opportunity to hone their skills and get selected in major cricket leagues in the country.
    • The logo of Kathmandu Kings XI is derived from the vision of the team “Fearless”, “Ruthless”and “who never back down from a fight”.
