In 1996, Mr. Sanjay Agrawal embarked on his entrepreneurial journey after graduating from college. While he had a desire to start his own venture since childhood, he chose to join Ramesh Corp. and began his career as a General Manager at Universal Trading Centre Pvt. Ltd. This pioneer trading enterprise was a leader in the hardware and power tools sector, and Mr. Agrawal's expertise in sales and marketing helped him expand the business across Nepal, gaining valuable exposure and experience along the way. In 2002, he achieved a significant breakthrough by launching the Black & Decker brand in Nepal, marking a major milestone in his career.

In 2008, Mr. Agrawal took a bold step and entered the mobile business, recognizing the enormous potential and inherent risk in this untapped market. He played a pivotal role in establishing several national and international mobile companies in Nepal, including Colors, Spice, HTC, Blackberry, Gionee, and Xiaomi, and currently serves as the Managing Director of Ramesh Corp's Consumer Durable & Mobile Phone Division.

In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Mr. Agrawal is also actively involved in shaping policy decisions that impact the mobile industry in Nepal. As a member of a national policy-making body, he has contributed to the development of this sector, which is crucial for Nepal's economic growth. His passion for community-building initiatives led him to become the Vice President of the Mobile Phone Importer Association (MPIA) in 2017, where he has made significant contributions to policy improvements in the mobile industry. The association actively participates in various CSR initiatives to promote social welfare and development.

In addition to his accomplishments in the mobile industry and community initiatives, Mr. Agrawal also serves as the President of the Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industry, further highlighting his versatile skillset and leadership qualities. In this role, he has been instrumental in fostering economic relations and promoting trade between Nepal and Italy. His experience in business and entrepreneurship has helped him make significant contributions towards the growth of both economies. With his dedication, vision, and ability to navigate complex business environments, Mr. Agrawal continues to inspire and lead the way for future generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
